How depression and fatigue is related?
Is depression and fatigue the same? Indeed fatigue can be caused from mental stress for why many people think that fatigue is closely linked with depression.
In a broad sense, depression and fatigue are entirely different health disorders. For the last ten years, many doctors have been considering fatigue as a physical disorder which is caused from various reasons including mental stress. However there are also some health-care professionals that disagrees this concept. They believe that fatigue is a condition that is resulted from depression and they treat the disorder itself as depression.
Depression – a sign of fatigue
The symptoms of fatigue are many among which one of them is depression. Most symptoms are physical discomforts. One of the signs is severe tiredness after putting yourself too hard on a physical or mental activity. - Patients with depression experience tiredness most of the time whereas fatigue sufferers feel exhaustion upon mental or physical stress.

Treating fatigue or depression requires determining the root cause as the first step. The underlying reason can be many. Poor diet, vitamin deficiency, anemia, consumption of toxic foods, immune disorders, serious disease and fibromyalgia are some of them. Your lifestyle is another best reason that can result in depression and tiredness. Inflexible work schedule, physical inactivity, inability to manage too much responsibilities, unsatisfactory job and lack of restoration time can result in exhaustion.
Treating the condition
Identifying type of cause, whether physical or psychological can help you choose the right treatment for curing the condition. Take a medical test which can be blood test. If you are suffering from depression, then fix an appointment with a psychiatrist or a counselor. Consider the treatment seriously and make an estimate of how much time you require for the recovery process.
